Canberra Hypnobirthing and Lactation Care

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a certified Hypnobirthing Australia™️ Practitioner.

I'm a mother of 3 amazing children and I live locally here in Canberra. I am incredibly passionate about childbirth education and spreading the word of positive birthing. A large component of my professional philosophy is that all women deserve to have an optimal and empowering birth experience. Because of this, I am acutely aware how imperative antenatal education and preparation is, and the profound role that this plays in a woman’s birth experience. I have seen the Hypnobirthing Australia™️ Positive Birth Program work, and believe that it is the positive change needed in the antenatal education world. I offer a range of classes to our Canberra community – online, private and group in-person.

My approach to childbirth and lactation education is always evidence-based and compassionate, and I believe that this assists women in making their breastfeeding experiences not only easier, but also more enjoyable. My lactation appointments are individualised to you and your babe and are carried out in the comfort of your own home.

I would love to help you with your birthing preparation and/or breastfeeding journey - please pop over to my website or socials and say hello!
