Hawthorne House Photography

For me, photography is a double sided coin - but both sides are beautiful! On one side, I have a creative outlet that I thrive on and love. I'm constantly amazed by the families I shoot for and am honoured to be a part of their lives, even just for a day. I haven't had a single session where I wasn't smiling or laughing for majority of our time together. It's always a lot of fun and that shows in my work.

On the other side, photography allows me to hold onto times that have changed and people who aren't around anymore. Loved ones passed or simply people living in a town I no longer live in. Having those precious, handheld memories is something that fills me with so much warmth. My memory isn't the greatest - baby brain does not, in fact, go away when your children are no longer babies! - but photos last a lifetime and they're the best reminders of wonderful times and wonderful experiences with the people I love. I would be honoured to provide the same for you.
